MinNa LProc

MinNa is a research and development laboratory established to work on the development of Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools, technologies, and distributable digital resources of Mindanao Languages. With the increasing number of endangered languages, it is high time that we intensify research and development works that involve the collection, digitalization, storage, and dissemination of language resources, as well as the development of task-specific trained applications.

MinNa Laboratory has been generously funded by the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) with high-end equipment to enable Mindanao NLP researchers conduct research works. The University of the Immaculate Conception serves as the implementing agency to advance these research works to its complete implementation and deployment.
